The first time I went they left the fries off my order. The other food was still good so I didn’t complain and since the line was long I decided not to back and get them. I called today several times and a person picked up and hung up each time. They then took the phone off the hook. I wonder if the boss is aware that they are losing money? Great food but need better staff.

Good food, good variety. Usually run out of something but it'll be good when you get it.

Best grilled bar b cue chicken with special sauce. Ribs are great too. I love this place when I want home cooked food and don't want to cook.

Simple comfort food or soul food. Fried chicken is always awesome just like your Mom and Grandma would make. Always look forward to collards too. Today's trip 8/12 they didn't have any but were cooking new batch. The girl behind the counter brought me a bowl full, well worth the trip. Never a bad meal

Delicious, fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, and cabbage. Seasoned perfectly. Great tea. Awesome southern experience.

OK, but not an every week lunch event. My bbq ribs were tough and dry, not enjoyable. A large variety of food selections on the steam table. Some better than others, your choice. Hot veggies and desserts too. No photos taken.

We had a good experience at this little fast food bbq joint. The bbq was bland but cooked about as well as gas cooked pork can be. The fried chicken was great. It was juicy and crispy without being greasy. We always stop for bbq to and from the beach, so we will likely be back next trip. Great value for your money!

Best food in town for the money!! Every time I come into town I go here to eat at least once. I would give it a 5 star if they had longer hours. they close to early. Would be nice if they stayed open on Friday and Saturday till 9pm and there winter hours are even worse they close at 7pm

Food is delicious! Prices are fair! Cabbage, greens, and corn I dont care for. Everything else I had no complaints! Fast service, nice girls that work there.

We stopped by to use the restrooms on our way through town. The food smelled and looked so good, we had to order. We got a bbq sandwich, collards, hushpuppies, and fried okra. This food was delicious, portions were large, and it was fresh! The employees were very friendly and quick to serve. I wish we lived closer because this would be one of our go-to restaurants!

Food is great but the employees in person are nice, just not on the phone. I have tried for several weeks to place an order on the phone and I was told that they were too busy for phone orders I would have to wait in line like everyone else. That's not a problem I just have a four year old and do not like taking him in places right now with alot of people so I would rather use the drive thru.

Can't beat it! Some of the best home cooking Southern style that I've ever eaten. BBQ, Seafood, Collard Greens....the list goes on and on....

They have great Bar BQ chicken! Sides are also good. Fast service and great prices. This is a cafeteria style restaurant and not very big but it's a great place to eat.

1st time visiting and it was okay. They moved fast handling the crowd in line. Only real complaint is that they lost one of our dishes. Once it was made and brought from the kitchen it got placed in the call in section. While I waited off to the side for 15 minutes and no one noticed it asked what I needed. I finally had to step up to the register to ask for my food. We may try it again after everything's open again.

Beef brisket plate. Nothing but fat. Huge disappointment. Why would you serve your customers pure blobs of fat. Actual meat would fill a tablespoon.

It is always great. I have been many times. Bar-b-que is fantastic. I can never eat it all. Always have enough for lunch the next day. After 5 there was a line we got there right before 5. Our family has never had a complaint. They have many choices for sides!

First visit today. I do feel portions were lacking in regards to the cost. Didn't bother with the dessert since they were way overpriced. The bbq was good, but their sauce is definitely not typical for the area and is VERY GOOD. The staff was less than friendly, with the exception of one lady who was dishing sides. Another was complaining about a previous customer. The cashier was nice and made sure to include forks and offer sauces. Not an impressive experience, which is pretty disappointing.

Good food ..good prices...my husband and i went to look at homes..and I saw the restaurant..I didn't really know what too choose everything looked so delicious...wonderful staff..thank you all ..will go again...

Went with my family for dinner. Food is always great but the wait line staff is always so nasty and snappy when serving. Everyone is having a hard time with hearing over these masks and the one wait staff was so impatient while waiting on my family. Slamming food on the plates we ordered and making faces. Made me choose not to eat there. I’m very discouraged from going back because of the customer service. Maybe it won’t hinder anyone else from going but it really made it hard to eat from there today.

My sis took me there on Sat and I went back Sun to get my whole family food. I was able to get enough food for the whole family. This food is really good and prices are too. I drove all the way from Greenville to get the food which I am glad I did. I will be back.

If you want something healthy or contemporary you're in the wrong spot. But if you want some amazing BBQ and southern soul food you're in luck. Bring an appetite and your taste buds for some of the best food you'll get on a Styrofoam plate. BBQ is sweet and tangy.

Great place for some southern cooking! I especially enjoyed the fried chicken and potato salad. I highly recommend this establishment!

Good amount of food for the money, food is good for a local bbq joint-but-phenomenal when thought as a fast food carry out! I believe my meal came with sauce if I ordered it but I wasn't offered so some confusion with ordering being new to the establishment.

Don't get me wrong I love the food here and normally come 4 days a week But I will not go back until all employees wear mask It clearly said that on the news as well

The food is good but you can't call in a order cause they set the phone to a machine to tell you that the number is busy. So I have to take my business elsewhere.

Great food! I was beyond pleased, only issue I have with these restaurants is they be cheating their way through homemade Mac and cheese. Have the real cheese melted on top, but some kind of cheese filling in between, I’m a foodie so that mad wack. Make the real deal Mac and cheese from scratch all the time and I’d eat there everyday!
